A Sobering Honor, A Sacred Duty.

This young officer understands what that means.

The ones who are left behind always understand where the honor lays. We got to come home, while they didn’t. They gave their tomorrows for our todays, and it’s always a sobering honor, a sacred duty, to remember them, and live our lives in a manner worthy of their sacrifice.

God Bless them all.

H/T to Outlaw13 at Threedonia one of the good guys.
